Blackhat Webmasters are immoral businessmen. They use shady methods, rip off CPA's and affiliate networks through immoral activities. They are bad in that way. The thing I like about them is that they use their brain. They'll think outside the box. They'll challenge the prevailing orthodox of common webmaster knowledge. They'll push the limits and make you think.
Hang out with a blackhat webmaster or at a blackhat forum. You don't have to apply the methods they suggest, you'll just pick up on things. You'll see how they challenge things and you'll start doing that too.
