Anybody can tell me why this code works perfectly in Netscape7.2 and not at all in IE6?

background-image: url("big.gif");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center;
}
</style>

Anybody can tell me how I can put a mpeg file as "background" in a page?

What is not doing? Is it repeating? Is it not in the center? What DOCTYPE are you using? Post the URL so we can review it more.

You cannot - mpegs were not made to be a background image. You can embed an MPEG but not as a background image.
