I'm relatively new to HTML, and I'm trying to figure out how to get a background image to show through two frames. It's easy to do with iframes, like this, but I can't seem to do it with regular frames, which I tried here.
The frames themselves function exactly how I intend. They just need cosmetic surgery.
It's possible I may want to change the background image to autoresize using javascript later on. It didn't work out to well with iframes, and I can't really try it with regular frames until I learn a bit more about them. |

Without careful splicing etc, I do not think it is really possible. Plus to make it look correct in all browsers, would even be more difficult. You might check out International Web Developers Network and they might be able to offer some advice |

| Then why does <FRAME> have an ALLOWTRANSPARENCY attribute that can't be utilized? |

| That attribute was created by the makers of a browser (namely Microsoft) and never was an HTML attribute actually. |
