Whereabouts do I place the script for rollover images which I copied from this site to an HTML document. The script works fine (except I had to add <align left> to place the script next to the picture) until I try to put it in <head> or <body>.

Thanks Corey. Now I'm really confused. I'd seen your response in the forum but supposed this was for non Java script and it seemed to my untutored eyes that your script is very different to those in the 'Many Links, One Rollover' tutorial at http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/images/images_famsupp_84.html. which is where I got my original script, so I didn't think it applied to my situation. Hence the 'New Post' enquiry. What do I do now; ditch the tutorial as irrelevant and follow your example and not know where to go next or struggle on with the tutorials?

Chances are - that that script on that particular page goes into the <head>.
As far as using that one or the other - it is up to you. Both seem pretty straight-forward

Dear Corey. It may be straightforward for someone with 3608 postings but for us poor souls with only 2 it's anything but. I've only been using HTML for a couple of weeks so haven't got the intuition of a seasoned web spinner, after all that's why I'm using the tutorials in the first place. So what is the difference or the similarities between your script and the tutorials? Thanks. Simon

I don't really mess with JavaScript at all. It is a bit too unpredictable since it is a client side language.
I came across the script that posted and it seemed to work on IE, Firefox and a few other browsers so that is why I decided to use it / post it.
