: Yep. The frameset document includes that content before the FRAMESET element, so the browser treats it like a regular content document. Ironically, the frameset document includes the comment

: <!-- Frames are to be placed in the top of an -->
: <!-- HTML page BEFORE the BODY tag -->

: And the frameset document is a messy blend of XHTML and HTML, that claims to be HTML 4.0 Transitional.

Seems like IE6 chews and swallows but IE5 does not.

I got this answer from someone on other forum and I don't know what he mean about that mix of XHTML and HTML...can you explian me..

Short for eXtensible HyperText Markup Language , XHTML is a hybrid between HTML and XML designed for net devices and method of displaying web pages on net and portable devices.

Short for eXtensible Markup Language, XML is a specification developed by W3C, XML is similar to HTML in that XML uses Tags to markup a document allowing a browser to interpret the tags and display them on a page. However unlike HTML, XML language is unlimited and allow self-defining tags.

I would stay clear of these markup languages and stick with HTML untill they are more widely supported

Hey, I would recommend increasing the index and top frame, so there is no scroll bar, some people don't like scrolling back and forth on the index screen, you know what I mean. Very Happy
(I think I put in too many commas!) Laughing
