Hi,

I am setting up a "tell-a-friend" page on my website so that people who refer friends (and those friends make a purchase) will receive a small payment or % off on purchases. My question is: to track the referrer and the referee (?) is PHP the only way I can automatically do it? I don't have my site hosted on a server that offers PHP.
Does anybody know of any other options or any other programs that would help me track the referrals?

Thanks,
Geoff

there are probably other scripts you could find that are not written in php, but chances are that if your server does not support php it wont support asp, cgi, etc...

try searching google for a javascript tell a friend script...
it'll be hard to find a good free3 one that does what you are looking for, but i'm sure there is one out there...

alternatively, you could write one yourself Laughing
