Hello,

I am trying to find a way to out the results of a button into a frame within the page the query is run from.
'

I have this page:-

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Test</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<form action="http://samspade.org/whois" method="POST">
<p style="text-align:right">
<input type="text" name="query" value="" size="30" maxlength="200" /><br />
<input type="submit" value="Whois" /><br />
<input type="hidden" name="server" value="auto" />
</p>
</form>
</HTML>

And I would like the results of the button press to be displayed within a frame on the above page rather than in a new window.

Can anyone help me achieve this?

Cheers

You could try in the <form> tag target="framename" and see if that helps.
