Did you try an absolute path ie.http://www.mysite.com/httpdocs/698.mid

Did you put the code in the head or body section?

Put it in the body, it is set to be hidden so it can't be seen. I very rarely have had any luck embedding in the head section.

You are correct, after putting in the body, the background musik can be heard in the picasa_book now. Thanks.
