HTML code help

I'm totally new at this and not very technical. I just created a website using mostly a template. I'm now trying to spruce it up. I'd like to include a simple table with ten vertical items and three colums. Nothing I'm doing is working so it's obviously over my head. Any suggestions? My new website is:

Gail, since you seemed to want help with HTML and not really making an introduction - I moved your post to the HTML Table zone.

Having said that, I think you want something like

Thanks so much! I ended up finding a table code for something else on a site last night and I used it but changed the content. It worked well. I appreciate your quick reply and will save your code because I have some other ideas for pages that will need it. I'm new to forums and don't feel like I "navigate" them very well, but they sure come in handy!
