Hi folks,


To add RSS news to webpage whether it needs a RSS generator running on the server? What additional software are also required?


On searching RSS generators on Internet I found "ListGarden"
http://www.softwaregarden.com/products/listgarden/


It is free to download. What alternatives on Open Source would be recommended?

Here's one that I've used before. Pretty nicely done but you will need to have some programing skills (PHP).

I'm prepaired to have news pages feeded from "RSS News Feeds"

Does "simplepie" work on this way? Thanks.

Not quite. The http://rssfeedreader.com/ is more like the final product from using simplepie. If you just want to add more contents to your site without any coding then http://rssfeedreader.com/ may be the way to go.

Could you please explain in more detail on "If you just want to add more contents to your site without any coding then......"? What coding shall I add? What is it for?


I came across some websites before allowing you adding news. Is it "http://rssfeedreader.com/" one of those sites? TIA
