I have this code down for an image. I want to move the image over some. I can't. How do I do this? Here is the code:

Code:

<img style="border:4px double #000;"

src="rome,italy2.jpg";
width=375px;
height=150px;

I think I have the code down incorrectly.

Depends if the image is inside a container that can be nudged, or use absolute positioning. Your code is almost correct. When specifying width and height as inline styling but not in the style code, it would be
width="375" height="150"
If it is inside the style code then it would be
style="width:375px; height:150px;"

Thanks. I got it down now. I'm re-doing a site that I have done with html, and want to use CSS instead. I have partially succeeded:

Code:

<html>

<style type="text/css">

body
{
background-image:
url('bg_page_container.gif');
background-repeat: repeat-y;
width:200px;
background-position:top center;
</style>
<br><br>
<img style="border:1px solid #000; margin-left:175px;"

src="logo1.jpg";
width=200px;
height=145px;

</style>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">10/28/07</font></h5>

<font color="000"> Just a brief overview of my everyday, every year happenings.  I've been so
pleased to have worked on getting my learner's permit, and now my driver's license. I also have been
attending college, trying to complete courses, and fulfilling my degree requirements, which is still in
progress, as I have three courses left. I am in stress with these three. I have started one this semester,
but dropped. So now, I have to start again.<br></br>

Other things which have been going on...my sister graduated in June from high school. Yeah, she's my
adopted sister. Lol. Anyways, she is now at George Mason University, as a freshman and a music major. She
plays the French horn. I am also a music major and play the piano. We both love music. So anyways.<br></br>

As far as other things being put to action, I have also spend the past few months on and off, experimenting
with HTML and learning about web design. I have learned lots from all this, and managed to build a few
sites, using a beautiful software called EZ Generator. This software does most of the work for you. In other words,
you just work with templates, and designing (colors, fonts, backgrounds..etc.). I have been very pleased with
how it works. So I take much advantage of it when I can, and experiment with that as well. </font><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"><a name="2"> Another Day : Two Days away from Halloween </a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">10/29/07</h5>

<font color="000"> This month has flown by like a hurricane. Only a few days left until Halloween. I have not yet decided what
to do. As for this morning, I had a really strange breakfast. Of course, it was the usual, cereal. But it was tasteless, or, should I say
-- unpleasant. So I finished the cereal anyways, but I left out the milk and just threw it all out. Too much milk to waste, but so much
to save on your health. I would rather waste bad milk than to drink it.<br></br>

Some ideas I have for Halloween : getting together with friends, going out to the mall (highly not recommended as it gets jammed
badly), staying home and giving candy (still not recommended - boring), going to the theaters, which, there aren't many good
movies out lately. There is a good movie coming up in November 21st. It is called <a href="http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809813069/info">This Christmas</a>. It is Comedy/Drama. :). I'm anxious to see that one. I hope it is really good. It looks to be good, as the pictures show.<br></br>

So as you see, all these ideas, some have problems. Getting together with friends is great, but difficult. They either don't have
time, already set their own plans, or just too far away from where you are. I have this difficulty around Thanksgiving/Christmas
time. I hope this year will be better. Still not sure.<br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"><a name="3"> Happy Halloween!</a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">10/31/07</h5>

<font color="000"> Greetings! Happy Halloween. The day has arrived. Yes. I am still thinking on what to do tonight. I don't know. I
know for sure, I don't want to be home. Thought of going to campus still, but wouldn't know what to do there, except go in the
practice rooms, or visit friends. I am still thinking about this. I've received an email from one of my teachers who I sent a greeting
card to. She liked it very much. She is dressed as the Witch Dr.<br></br>

I, on the other hand, also have a costume, which is a cat. It is only a mask, and cat ears. Lol. Doesn't sound like much. Well, better
than nothing. I was going to become Charles Chaplin Jr once. Didn't have all the necessary clothing. I had the cane and moustache
and the gloves, but that is about it. No shoes, no hat. I should look into more costume options, as there are millions. I was also
Zorro, a few times. Got tired of that. I'm also tired of staying home and giving out candy, as it isn't much fun. Eating candy is more
pleasant. <br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"> <a name="4">A New Month Has Arrived</a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">11/6/07</h5>

<font color="000">I can't say how fast these months have gone by. We are now in November. And this month too, is going by
quick. There are many things going on this month. My sister's birthday is on the 21st. During that week, Thanksgiving is on a
Thursday. Also, in a few weeks, I'm going out of town with Kitty to Atlanta. We're going by car too. I have never had Kitty
on long trips in the car, except to the vet, which is a short trip, since it's nearby. I hope she will do well. Carsickness is
the only thing that concerns me.<br></br>

In the next month, which is approaching slowly, I will be playing in our ensemble recital, which is on December 13th. I can hardly wait
for that to come. I think we will do good. I have been preparing for that event. So, it will be a busy two months to come. I haven't
planned on what to do during the Christmas holidays. I hope I can ask a few friends to come visit.<br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"><a name="5">A Lot of Learning</a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">11/7/07</h5>

<font color="000">Once again, I'm struggling in the world of HTML. I am trying to learn more of it and JavaScript. Both at once. I
am so  overwhelmed that I cannot use frames. I mean, I did try once, but it didn't work out well. I've heard that they are hard
to use and cause a lot of problems. So I just decided to go the simple route and design my page without the frames. I guess
it's better that way than to have a messy webpage.<br></br>

So, I have learned a huge ton, while on my journey, exploring the pros n cons of using different HTML codes. JavaScript also has
pros and cons, and one of the cons is, that it can slow your computer, depending on the size of the script.<br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"> <a name="6">Bose or No Bose? : Investigating on getting a New Speaker System</a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">11/12/07</h5>

<font color="000">Aside from my HTML issues, I've come to another concern. I've been wanting to replace my current stereo
system which consists of a Yamaha stereo set, Aiwa 5-speaker sets, and two Fisher speakers with a Bose subwoofer. I need to
do this because of my cat, who has been using my speakers as a scratch post. This issue isn't urgent at the moment, since I
need to do some sound research - testing out the sounds of both systems.<br></br>

I have had much compliments received from my dad and uncle on the Bose brand, in terms of excellent sound quality. The others,
they are ok. Right now, my current speaker sets are working well, and have no sound problems. So I'm saving up for now, until
I go out and try the two sound systems I have in mind. Not that I want to buy both, of course. Bose is a very expensive brand,
folks. Save up while you can, before thinking about buying its excellent sound system!<br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"> <a name="7">Back from 3-Day Trip and Getting Things Together

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">11/25/07</h5>

<font color="000">Well, it has been a busy few weeks for me thus far. I have spent a 3-day weekend at my grandma's in Atlanta. It was
all great, and it turned out that Kitty enjoyed it too. I have also been busy working on this webpage, and just enjoying a quiet
Thanksgiving. I hope Christmas will be fun as well. Thanksgiving is usually boring for me, as we have no one to come by
to visit us. Christmas is the same, actually.<br></br>

So anyways. I start school again this week, Thursday. Not much left until end of semester, thankfully. I have been counting down the
days till Christmas, which is just weeks away, as November is coming to an end. I also can't wait until our recital day. In all, I'm ready
for the holidays.<br></br>

Recently, I've added a calendar to this site, as you see here above. I have had another calendar, which was black, but that didn't
work out, as the numbers didn't show. It only showed the days of the week, and the month. Those were the only two that you could
change the colors of. So, I gave up with that calendar and got this one. It looks good too. I have also played with the background
colors of this page, using the DIV tag feature, and the bgcolor code. So now, I'm happy with how things are looking on my page.<br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"> <a name="8">Another Trip Complete, Another Semester Begins</a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">1/4/08</h5>

<font color="000">Hello and Happy New Year everyone! It's been a while since I have updated my things on my site here. I have had a great holiday and a great end to the semester. Our recital was good, but small. Not very many showed up. Still, I had a great time. It went by quite fast too. We also had a holiday concert earlier during that month and that also went well. I wish I could go back to these events again. There are new events to come for this semester.<br></br>

During my holidays, I also have had another trip, and this one was to Toronto, CA. It was a great trip, but too short. The weather there is always too cold during winter. So we had to come back early, not because of the cold, but because it was forecasted that snow would arrive during the rest of the week. We had left Friday night, and returned Monday. It wouldn't be worth staying there anyways because, my aunt and her family all work. My two cousins (her sons) go to work
and school, so there wouldn't be anyone to be with.<br></br><hr width=75%></hr>

<font color="#917761"> <a name="9">Busy Semester, Sad Days</a>

<h5><font color="#AA9X21">2/14/08</h5>

<font color="000">Hi everyone. I apologize on not being on here for sooo long. I've had a busy start to the semester, as we had started January 14th. Since then,I've been busy practicing and studying. Two courses - Psychology, and Piano Ensemble. I did do Psychology the previous semester, but had dropped. I am
now taking it again from a different approach. I'm taking it online. As for Piano Ensemble, that's been going well.

Along the way, I've been in frustration that my sister had not been in touch much, until lately, she doesn't want to be in touch at all. I don't know what has gone into her lately, but it seems she wants to go about her own ways. She started college, and is in her 2nd semester now. I feel saddened that she no longer, or...at least for now, doesn't want to be in touch with me. I didn't do anything to cause this. She's being a bit off. So these days are frustrating for me.<br></br>

I am trying to keep pace with school and going about my own things. However, I discovered a site called Facebook. I've managed, to my surprise, to find other friends and relatives who I've known and know. Get this - two elementary school friends, one from middle school and some from high school. I was impressed! And to make it better, this weekend, I'm meeting up with one of my elementary school friends, whom I knew since 2nd grade! So that put a lot of happiness in me. Well, I must go now. So, I'll come again when school settles down a bit, homework wise. Happy Valentine's Day. xoxo.<br></br>
