I am trying to create emails that are Html coding. Kinda like all the pretty junk mail I get.

My sister is having a baby shower and I told her I would make her a site she can send people giving them the info for the baby shower. But then I thought of making a pretty email that I can put a picture in that links to a site. Shocked

Nothing is working that I am trying. Crying or Very sad I have even search the web for 3 days looking for a simple source code .... nothing.Crying or Very sad Can anyone please help me with the coding to start and end this HTML email Question I am so running out of time.

Here is the coding I am using:

<html>
<head>
<title>An Invite</title>
</head>
<xbody>

<div style="background-color:#691e7b"><center><p><br><br>
<font face="arial," size="5" color="#ffffff">
<b><p>Your Invited!!<p>Please Click On Your Invitation To Open</b></font>
<p><a href="javascript:ol('http://THE COMPLETE LINK TO SITE');">
<img src="http://THE COMPLETE LINK TO GRAPHIC" width=446 height=372 border=0 alt="For Sarah & Michael"></a></center>

<p></font></div>
</xbody>
</html>

Thank You In Advance!!! Very Happy Smile

If using Yahoo, click on Mail Options and then General Preferences, and under Composing E-mails, make sure you have Compose messages as color and graphics checked.

Now, compose the email normail & Yahoo will create the HTML for you.

What program is used when receiving it? Did you try sending it to Yahoo? Do those recipients only have text to receive?

Thank you so much for trying to help ...... if it works you will see a purple background with white text. Thank you

Well you cannot paste source code into an HTML (WYSIWYG) editor. The WYSIWYG is creating the HTML for you. This is why you see HTML.

Try to first create a simple message and maybe centering it & if you want hit the add image button.

You are still using HTML.

Do this. type in a new message:
Quote:
Your Invited!!Please Click On Your Invitation To Open

Highlight it & then in the tollbar right above, choose the center formatting and then send that message.
