Can you explain in detail what you are having problems with or what you are trying to do with your site?
Some CSS and HTML errors need correcting right now.

Not too bad as to the errors. All the HTML seems to be coming from the counter code. |

There's nothing to see or do on this page except sign the guestbook or use the link to the blog. If your an artist, where are the displays of your work? Two images on the home page does not depict what kind of work you do.
I finally found your image gallery which does nothing except display the alt text for the images. Even though Coppermine is a good gallery, you should design your own that will go with your page theme. Put ALL your links on every page so users can find them. I almost left after using just the few links on the home page. Maybe that's why you aren't getting many hits.
Counters went out in the nineties, too cheesy looking. If you must have one, make it hidden or sign up for google analytics which will give you an in depth report on your visitors (it's free). |

Useful advice thanks and I need to work on my site because I have to compression jpgs sizes smaller so I can add more art work on my start page and redesign my photo gallery but my main problem is
http://blackmonscraft.com/blackmonscraft.com/gallery/index.php
because it seems so strange to me that my domain is list twice and even if it was not would blackmonscraft index.html be the same as blackmonscraft index.php to a search engine?

| No, the extension is different and it is not in the root folder. |

thanks for the advise about signing up for google analytics and I did take the counter off my page. google analytics is awesome but all its doing is telling me how few hits I get can it do more?
and as far as the path I can change it unless I delete my photogallery and start all over again. |
