I'm a beginner in HTML & CSS, I just downloaded Coffee Cup Editor to help get a better understanding of the code ( I'm a more visual learner) has any one else used this program before and is good? Just would like to get your opinion on this software.

Thanks!

Coffee Cup Editor is ok for beginner's. I've used it before just to see what features it had, but went back to my original editor.

There are more free editors available which have more features to use, but I would only recommend these once you have a grasp of hand coding HTML/CSS/XML/PHP, etc. a little more.

Don't forget to check out this site's tutorials and to go by the W3C.orgs coding standards.

Do not hesitate to post any questions you may have. Good luck.

I use Microsoft Expression Web. I think they offer a free 60-day evaluation which you might take a look at as well.

I suggest to use new free PHP IDE Codelobster PHP Edition
It has also special plug-ins for Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, Smarty and JQuery.
