my profile:

http://www.myspace.com/jackiewild

I noticed like a week ago or so that my rows have moved further appart.. That some extra space appeared between my verticaly aligned images and links.
You can see the best example of what I'm talking about on my contact table on the left side of the profile...

those 4 images/links used to be exactly one under another without that emphy white extra space between them (few pixels)
And it's not just that- all the other content is verticaly spaced appart a little more..

This problem showed up on it's own, I didn't change anything in my code and it ONLY appeared in FIREFOX.
In IE everything is still fine.. you can check the difference yourself to see what I'm talking about.

before you start giving reasons and solutions I already tried- I checked my css and everything.. all the paddings and spacing are set to 0px..

does anyone know a fix for this?? Sad
or maybe it's a temporary myspace bug?

thanx in advance

I don't know if these are the right images, but many of them have a double break between them like this:
Code:
<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/gothness.png" /><br />

<br />

<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/dirtyangelsprom240.png" /><br />

<br />

<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/mayaguez240.png" /><br />

<br />

Some have triple breaks like this:
Code:
<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/cityrolldark.gif" />

<br /><br /><br />

<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/bloodylips2.png" />

<br /><br /><br />

love/hate

<br /><br />

There is a lot of whitespace between the image tags and break tags, too.

no I know those do. I should've put the code..
this is what bugs me.. I have this 4 images that are actually links:

Code:
<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/cnontact1frame.png" /><br />

<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vbWVzc2FnaW5nLm15c3BhY2UuY29tL2luZGV4LmNmbT9mdXNlYWN0aW9uPW1haWwubWVzc2FnZSZmcmllbmRJRD03OTEyOTYyMQ==" title="send message"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/msg1frame.png" /></a><br />

<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vZnJpZW5kcy5teXNwYWNlLmNvbS9pbmRleC5jZm0/ZnVzZWFjdGlvbj1pbnZpdGUuYWRkZnJpZW5kX3ZlcmlmeSZmcmllbmRJRD03OTEyOTYyMQ==" title="add"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/add1frame.png" /></a><br />

<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vZ3JvdXBzLm15c3BhY2UuY29tL2luZGV4LmNmbT9mdXNlYWN0aW9uPWdyb3Vwcy5hZGR0b2dyb3VwJmZyaWVuZElEPTc5MTI5NjIx" title="group"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/group2frame.png" /></a><br />

and they used to be on top of eachother, and they made a full black table picture. They only have one <br> tag - cuz I have to specify new row somehow, but now they have few extra pixels in between as you can see on my profile if you're viewing in firefox. Sad

And even those pix you mentioned- when I tried to remove extra <br> tag and leave just one, also still had space between... so it's not just an issue with links!!

Looks the same in Opera as Mozilla. You have too much whitespace as I told you before. Your code for the images is:
Code:
<br /><br /><br />

<img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/cnontact1frame.png" /><br />

<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vbWVzc2FnaW5nLm15c3BhY2UuY29tL2luZGV4LmNmbT9mdXNlYWN0aW9uPW1haWwubWVzc2FnZSZmcmllbmRJRD03OTEyOTYyMQ==" title="send message"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/msg1frame.png" /></a><br />

<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vZnJpZW5kcy5teXNwYWNlLmNvbS9pbmRleC5jZm0/ZnVzZWFjdGlvbj1pbnZpdGUuYWRkZnJpZW5kX3ZlcmlmeSZmcmllbmRJRD03OTEyOTYyMQ==" title="add"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/add1frame.png" /></a><br />

<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vZ3JvdXBzLm15c3BhY2UuY29tL2luZGV4LmNmbT9mdXNlYWN0aW9uPWdyb3Vwcy5hZGR0b2dyb3VwJmZyaWVuZElEPTc5MTI5NjIx" title="group"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/group2frame.png" /></a><br />

<br /><br /><br />

Try putting the code in WITHOUT WHITESPACE:
Code:
<br /><br /><br /><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/cnontact1frame.png" /><br /><a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vbWVzc2FnaW5nLm15c3BhY2UuY29tL2luZGV4LmNmbT9mdXNlYWN0aW9uPW1haWwubWVzc2FnZSZmcmllbmRJRD03OTEyOTYyMQ==" title="send message"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/msg1frame.png" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vZnJpZW5kcy5teXNwYWNlLmNvbS9pbmRleC5jZm0/ZnVzZWFjdGlvbj1pbnZpdGUuYWRkZnJpZW5kX3ZlcmlmeSZmcmllbmRJRD03OTEyOTYyMQ==" title="add"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/add1frame.png" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vZ3JvdXBzLm15c3BhY2UuY29tL2luZGV4LmNmbT9mdXNlYWN0aW9uPWdyb3Vwcy5hZGR0b2dyb3VwJmZyaWVuZElEPTc5MTI5NjIx" title="group"><img src="http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/JackiePleasure/Photoshop%20stuff/group2frame.png" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />

I did.. it made absolutely no difference at all Sad
it's not the whitespace..
it's some sort of padding thing that I can't figure out.. What's really weird is that this only appeared a week ago untill than everything was fine..

Try adding this to each image tag giving you that problem:
Code:
style="vertical-align: top;"

Worked in my HTML editor.

Razz You're welcome. Had to be something. Some browsers do not tolerate white space well, but it doesn't hurt to tell browser what you want them to do. Razz
