I hired a guy to creat a page on my site and a popup window when visitors come to my site. I am sick of paying the high prices they charge for work that I know I could do if someone would just explain it to me. I want to get rid of the pop up window and I need to change some text on the other page that was created. Are there any coaches in here?

Assuming you have access to your webserver/hosting service then it is a fairly simple process to remove the code causing the popup and to alter any text you want to.
Could you post the URL for your site so we can look at the code?
