Edit data in columns instead of rows.........?

The only way i can see to do it is creating three rows in a table and within
the first cell keep editing using tables within the cell

This would be very time consuming.....any other ways??

Do you mean that when you press the tab key in a column the cursor moves to the same column but on the next row as opposed to the next column in the same row?

If so then this is a wee bit tricky but can be achieved using javascript.

Basically you will need to set the focus using javascript to the next row. When you hit the bottom row you then need to set the focus to the 2nd column top row.
