Hello...

I am trying to get something to work, and not sure if it is possible. I have my main page setup with an IFrame, and a second page set with an IFrame. On my main page, I have several different links, all of which brings the second page into the first IFrame. The second page contains the same links, but opens it in it's own IFrame.

1st page Iframe is 'mainframe'
2nd page Iframe is 'periframe'

What I am wanting to do, is when I click a link from the main page, I want it to bring the second page into 'mainframe' but also want the link to bring in the page consistant of the link in the 'periframe' on the second page.

Example...

I have the links:

Coke | Pepsi | Dew | Dr. Pepper

Those, being on the index page as well as the secondary page.

When I click on Coke, I want the secondary page to open in 'mainframe', and then the infomation page on Coke to open in 'periframe', all in one click. Same for Pepsi, Dew, Dr. P...

Each flavor has it's own page which will open in 'periframe', but how do I get the page for each flavor to open itself in 'periframe' when I click the link on the index to open the secondary page in 'mainframe'?

Thank you for your help, and I hope that I have explained this well enough that you have a good idea of what I am trying to do.

The problem with that script is I have 8 different pages which I want to open in my second iframe, pending which of the links are clicked...

Not to mention, my frames are not on the same page. And from overlooking that script, it is meant to change two frames in the same frameset. Where as I have two iframes, on two completely separate pages. I'm beginning to think it's not possible, but I think that there is a way to have the second page open, with a single page in the iframe which includes all information, and just set anchors within that page and have the first page of links, go to a certain anchor, depending on which link is clicked...

Thanks again...

I have not put the site up yet, but...

but what I want is when someone clicks on Products, and go to the products page... and scrolls down to CD/DVD drives, and click on that link. It will bring up the secondary page with another Iframe within the page... When clicking on any links from the products page, I want the peripherals page to open with information regarding whichever link they clicked on in the iframe on that particular page. It has 8 different links for several peripherals, hard drives, memory, cd/dvd drives, etc...

It sounds like you need to first target _top and create the appropriate frames. But using frames is not a good idea, just for SE purposes as well as compatibility

i have already visited the links "Changing Two Frames With One Click" or "2-Page Links", but it displays as Page cannot be displayed.

I'm facing the same problem, so i request to please post the coding here itself.

Thanks in advance
